Operator and service
These terms apply to pium.chat, operated by Eunice Jung in Hong Kong. Contact: builtbyeunice@gmail.com. Effective date: October 16, 2026. pium provides AI-assisted Korean practice through fictional characters, word explanations, writing feedback and learning reports. These terms describe the current free beta.
Eligibility and account security
You must be at least 18 years old to use pium, including the guest trial. Confirm your eligibility accurately, protect your login and do not share accounts or evade usage limits. Access is subject to provider-supported regions and applicable requirements; availability on the internet does not guarantee support in every country.
AI and character disclosure
Seojun and other characters are fictional AI characters, not real celebrities or human conversation partners. Conversations are friendly and non-romantic. AI replies, translations and corrections can be inaccurate. This is a language-practice service, not counselling, medical, legal or emergency assistance, and it does not guarantee learning outcomes.
Acceptable use
Do not submit sexual or exploitative content, threats, harassment, illegal harmful requests, someone else’s confidential information or recordings without permission. Do not impersonate others, attack the service or try to bypass safety controls, eligibility checks or usage limits. We may block content or restrict access for safety, security or misuse. Contact support to report a problem or challenge a restriction.
Your content and service materials
You retain the rights you hold in your content. You authorise the processing needed to provide the learning tools and optional features you request, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Only submit content you are entitled to use. The service design and character materials are provided for using pium; no ownership of these materials is transferred.
Free beta and purchasing status
The beta offers a shared allowance of five successful chat replies, writing reviews or created live voice sessions per browser, subject to technical and safety limits. A live voice session uses one reply and lasts up to three minutes; it counts when the session is created, even if the browser connection subsequently fails. Failed session creation requests do not consume a reply. Signing in or resetting learning history does not refill the trial. Public credit sales, subscriptions and checkout are not available. We will publish the price, included usage, renewal or expiry conditions and refund terms before offering any paid purchase. No payment is required to start the trial.
Availability and responsibility
The beta may change, pause or become unavailable. You can export learning data you want to keep. We take reasonable care in operating the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending use and account deletion
You may stop using pium at any time. Use Settings to delete your account after re-authentication and confirmation. Deletion is irreversible and removes linked learning history. Some external records are handled separately as described in the Privacy Policy. Contact support for assistance.
Changes and disputes
We will publish updates here with an effective date and notify you of material changes where required. Contact Eunice Jung at builtbyeunice@gmail.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by Hong Kong law, without depriving you of mandatory rights or access to courts and authorities available under applicable consumer law.
